Cosmic Snow Tubing
Hit the slopes the easy way – relaxing in a snow tube, a giant inflatable donut like the ones you likely used in the swimming pool as a kid. Add in disco balls, neon lights, glowing necklaces, and a DJ, and it’s positively cosmic.
Granite Gorge Ski Area in Keene is a two-hour drive from the Valley Inn.
Giant Swing
It’s like the ones from the county fair, only bigger. Up to four people at a time can ride the Giant Swing at Cranmore Mountain while taking in stunning views.
North Conway is about an hour and a half from the Valley Inn.
Fat Biking
Fat biking is a winter sport that employs supersized tires. The Mount Washington Valley Ski Touring Center is home to “groomed trails” that are specifically designed for fat biking.
The trails of Intervale are about an hour and a half from the Valley Inn.
Dog Sledding
It’s not just in Alaska – you can take out a team in the White Mountains, too! Participants can harness and hitch the team, and may be allowed to “drive” the sled.
Muddy Paw Sled Dog Kennel is located in Jefferson, just over an hour from the Valley Inn.
